DUSTIN + KAYLA // FARGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Oh my goodness am I pumped to share this amazing engagement session with you all. Now that spring is FINALLY showing it’s face, engagement sessions are quickly flooding my schedule and I could not be any happier! I love spring and I looooove being outside and enjoying a gorgeous evening with my camera in hand. Dustin and Kayla were absolutely adorable at their session. Their smiles were infectious and you can totally tell how in love these two are! I had such a blast getting to know them both. I am stoked for their wedding day which is coming very very soon! I’ve got a crazy busy week ahead of me – three engagement sessions and two back-to-back weddings! It sounds like pure madness, but I am SO STINKIN’ EXCITED!! Yay!! Wedding season is officially here and I’m ready to take it by storm!

DYLAN + DEBBIE // FARGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

I had a wonderful time this past weekend with Dylan & Debbie while taking their engagement pictures. Their session was so much fun! You can tell how much these two adore one another. They were so natural in front of the camera, it totally made my job way too easy! When Debbie told me she wanted to do something fun and different for her engagement session, I threw out the idea of shooting at the Fargo Air Museum and when she said she was on board I was so stinkin’ ecstatic! I could not be more happy with the way these images turned out. I really enjoyed shooting something different and unique. Little did I know that Dylan & Debbie had their very first date at an airport!! How awesome is that? I must give props to Debbie for the awesome outfit selections. I loved the colors! She has such a fab sense of style. I can only imagine how amazing her wedding dress will be. Thanks so much Dylan & Debbie for allowing me to capture your love. Can’t wait for the big day! I hope you two enjoy these as much as I did : )

UPDATES // 2013 INTERN POSITION + SPRING WORKSHOP + MODELS NEEDED

Hello everyone : )

Yep, you read the title right. Lots of fun coming up here at Emily Koska Photography! Things around here have been super busy as of late, so I apologize for the lack of activity on my blog. One of my goals this year is to blog at least once a week. It sounds so easy, but when life gets a hold of you it can get a little tricky. These days you can find me working my pediatric home care nursing job, teaching group fitness classes, meeting with 2013 brides, launching my 2014 senior rep program AND taking on some personal endeavors. YIKES! I am so excited for 1) tax season to be over and 2) spring to come around so I can get outside and shoot more!! This spring will be crazy busy with engagement sessions featuring 2013 couples and I CANNOT wait.

Speaking of 2013 weddings, I am currently seeking an intern for the 2013 summer/fall wedding season. I am searching for a fun, creative, and motivated individual to join me. If you fit this description and would like details (and think you can handle me singing along to Mariah Carey at the top of my lungs on road trips), then please inquire through my contact page. I am so excited for this summer/fall! I have some amazing weddings lined up and I’d love to have someone just as excited as me along for the ride.

Second, I will be offering a Beginner’s Workshop from 1-4pm on Sunday, April 28th. This workshop is ideal for anyone looking to explore their hobby for photography and learn how to operate their DSLR camera! Lastly, I am searching for a super quirky, stylish, and outgoing couple to model for a mentoring session in the afternoon on April 3rd in Fargo. If you know a couple that fits this description who would be interested in some stunning FREE images, then send them my way. Yay!

Whew, lots of announcements but I am so pumped for wedding season to pick up!! Bring it on 2013!!

I am so excited to share Tim & Madeline’s wedding with you all! I really adore these two and you can tell by the ridiculous amount of images in this post. It was too hard to narrow them down. They are such a sweet couple and I totally enjoyed watching their wedding day unfold. I must also tell you how awesome their wedding party was. It was windy and frigid outside and they all were willing to brave the cold in order to get some amazing images! Oh and I must say, I love their color choice! Who would have ever thought that orange and purple would go together? They sure did photograph nicely. Thank you so much Tim & Madey for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I hope Hawaii was amazing : )

JORDAN + JILL // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I am beyond happy to share Jordan & Jill’s wedding day with you all. I really enjoyed getting to know these two and it was such a joy to be able to capture their gorgeous wedding day. Jill made a breathtaking bride. I was totally OBSESSED with her dress and florals (I think that will be pretty obvious as you scroll through their images). These two high school sweethearts made a stunning couple and I am so happy for them! Congrats, Jordan & Jill! Enjoy : )

I loved how Jill’s bridesmaids were ready to have fun during their pictures. They were a gorgeous bunch.

I love the way Jordan looks at Jill. You can tell he absolutely adores her.

Any man who can hold his lady’s bouquet is a winner in my book!

Can you tell that i’m totally obsessed with Jill’s flowers yet?! I think I took a bajillion (yep, I just used that word) pictures of them!

Jill’s niece was the cutest little flower girl, ever! I just adored her.

What a cutie pie!

I loved this image! Jordan picked up his new wife and swung her around with excitement! Cutest. thing. ever.

I was obsessed with the decor at their reception! They did a fabulous job! I loved the centerpieces filled with real flowers, surprisingly you don’t see that too often.

For some reason I really liked this out of focus image below.
