Most people think I only do wedding photography. Although my main focus of my business is centered on weddings, I do offer other portrait sessions. So all inquiries are welcome! : ) Last weekend I had the chance to capture images for the Pink family. They were such a sweet and kind family. I really enjoyed spending time with them at Lindenwood Park. Meet the Pinks….

I was so happy when Brenna had contacted me about taking images for her wedding day. Brenna and I attended Jamestown College together and were in the same nursing program so we understand each others pain in many ways, haha. I had a great time getting to know Ryan during their engagement session and I could see how much he adored her. They even brought their super cute little dog, Zoey, to their session which provided for great entertainment. I cannot wait to capture their wedding day in August. It is going to be so beautiful!!

A little sneak peek of Ryan & Brenna’s engagement session today! I am SO EXCITED to share the rest with you guys. But for now, check out this gorgeous couple!
I had so much fun at this particular session with Eric & Maria because not only did I get to hang out with them and get to know them better, but I also had the opportunity to teach a fellow photographer. It’s crazy to think that people are asking me for advice. Perhaps I shouldn’t be saying this out loud….let alone on my blog….oh well. : ) But as some of you may know, this summer is my very first summer doing wedding photography full time on my own. I have plenty of weddings under my belt, but it still seems so weird that others want advice from me and it’s kind of a scary thought. But, I absolutely loved helping a fellow photographer out and talking ‘shop’ all day (as I’m sure my hubby is probably sick of hearing me talk photography). These are some images from our quick engagement session. I loved them all, so narrowing it down was IMPOSSIBLE. Enjoy : )

Eric & Maria were so sweet for volunteering to be ‘models’ for a one-on-one consultation I did with a fellow new photographer. They also happen to be one of my lovely couples I get to photograph this summer! Can’t believe their July wedding is coming up so soon! Thank you so much Eric & Maria, for listening to our weird photography jargon while you ever so cutely modeled for us. Your patience was amazing and I absolutely adore the images we were able to get. Despite the forecast for rain, Nicole & Justin’s wedding day turned out absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed spending their day with them and getting to know their wedding party (who I might add were super fun)! Check out the cute little kids in this wedding…can’t get enough of them! Enjoy

I am so excited to share these images from Kyle & Tasha’s engagement session with you. We started out their session at Maplewood State Park and ended at Kyle’s family’s lake cabin. Kyle did the math, bless his heart, and figured out we stopped at seven different locations throughout their session. Every one was worth it, too! They are so much fun to hang out with and super easy to work with. Their chemistry in front of the camera was amazing. And it’s always a bonus when the groom is willing to tag along for 2-1/2 hours and not complain once! Thanks, Kyle!! I cannot wait to see their wedding day unfold, it is going to be gorgeous! For now, their lovely engagement session. Enjoy : )
