Wedding season is here, which makes me so happy! I love getting the opportunity to spend my day documenting such a precious time in people’s lives. It truly brings me so much joy! And seriously, weddings are FUN!

Gina and Broderick’s wedding fell on a breezy April day. We decided to spend the afternoon on Concordia’s campus, which provided a stunning back drop for their portraits. I just love how these turned out. Gina was absolutely stunning and they were completely natural in front of my camera, despite both of them assuring me that they were awkward photo takers. I don’t think so, you two!! You were fabulous! Thank you so much Gina and Broderick for letting me tag along! Enjoy : )

Cheers,

Emily

Engagement season is here! The warm weather brings a busy schedule and I am so excited to get out and start shooting more. This winter has been a long one, so bring on the adorable couples and fresh air! Molly and Alec’s engagement session fell on a beautiful evening and I could not be more thrilled with how their session turned out. We were fortunate enough to pull Alec away from his tractor for a few hours and it was so worth it! Thank you both for spending the evening with me. I can’t wait for your big day! Enjoy : )

    Cheers,

    Emily

I am completely honored that Kelci asked me to take her family photos after their sweet little Kinsley was born. I feel so fortunate to have documented this incredibly special time for their family. Kinsley was super sweet and so stinking cute. And she looks just like her big brother! I loved spending the afternoon documenting these moments. Thank you Boniface family for allowing me to once again capture these memories for your family! Enjoy! : )

As you may have heard, I am now accepting more family sessions and I am so thrilled! My approach for family sessions is simple. I’m all about documenting ‘you’ in a non-traditional and laid back atmosphere. If you’re looking for someone to capture your family in their true essence, please contact me! I would LOVE to document these special moments for you that you can treasure for a lifetime.

When Emily asked me to do photos of her adorable little family, I was SO excited! Emily is a fellow photographer and I have followed not only her work, but updates of her sweet daughter Jovey over the last year. It was so fun to meet Jovey at their session. She was so full of spunk and her cute little smile was contagious. Thank you Finleys for allowing me to tag along and snap these photos of your beautiful family! Enjoy : )

        Cheers,

        Emily

I can definitely tell that wedding season is right around the corner as I squeeze in a few more engagement sessions. 2015 is going to be a fabulous year, packed with some stunning weddings. Kathleen and Jay’s session fell on a beautiful day when we still had snow. The light was absolutely perfect and created for some stunning images. I adore how these turned out. Many couples tell me how awkward they are in front of the camera, but the exact opposite almost always occurs. Just check out how adorable these two are! Kathleen and Jay were super photogenic during their session. I can only imagine how cute they will be on their wedding day! Enjoy : )

          Cheers,

          Emily
