AMY + JOE // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

September 30th, 2014

Amy and Joe’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking. This was my first time at the Meadows on Lind and I fell in love with their spectacular venue. This is seriously the perfect setting for any outdoor wedding! I enjoyed every minute there. It was a photographers dream that offered so many beautiful backdrops. Joe and Amy filled the day with stunning details, which were so fun to capture. I adored the chalkboards and all of the reception decor. I feel I can’t do this wedding justice by attempting to describe it. The best way is to show you just how amazing their day was. Congratulations Amy and Joe! Enjoy : )

Cheers,

Emily

KOLBY + MICAH // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

    September 29th, 2014

Finally!! I am so thrilled to share Kolby and Micah’s beautiful wedding with you all. I had so much fun documenting their day. The atmosphere was so relaxed and their bridal party was an absolute hoot. Bison fans anyone?! If so, you’re going to love this wedding! There was lots of love, laughter, and Bison pride present on their day. My personal favorite was when the parents and bridal party were announced into the reception. They were all dressed up in their Bison gear as they ran in to “Thunder Struck”. Some of them were even tossing miniature footballs into the crowd. It was a blast! Thank you so much Kolby and Micah for choosing me to be a part of your special day. Enjoy : )

BONIFACE FAMILY // FARGO PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

      September 23rd, 2014

I love getting the opportunity to take a break from weddings and engagements to document special moments with growing families. I was lucky enough to take photos of the Boniface family last year, so I was super excited when Kelci had asked me to do them again this year. It is so fun to see how much their family has grown and changed over the year. Little Brayden was a big ball of energy and such a cutie. Seriously, his blue eyes and blonde hair….so adorable! Thank you Boniface family for allowing me to document yet another year with your beautiful family! Enjoy : )

      Cheers,

      Emily

BETSY + DARREN // FARGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

        September 22nd, 2014

Happy monday everyone! I’ve been a busy bee over here getting caught up with all of these beautiful weddings and engagement sessions. I am so thrilled to share a few of my favorites images from Betsy and Darren’s engagement session. I loved spending the evening with these two wandering around downtown. Their session happened to occur during the week when I was really sick, but thankfully I was still able to do their session and they were such troopers with my runny nose and coughing. Betsy was sweet enough to send me home with a little care package after their session. Seriously, I have the best couples ever!! Thank you Betsy and Darren for allowing me to document such a special time. Enjoy : )

        Cheers,

        Emily

JENNY + CODY // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

          September 19th, 2014

I cannot think of a better way to start my weekend, than to share a beautiful wedding with you all. Jenny and Cody’s wedding day was elegant and so much fun! Rain seems to be a huge theme at a lot of my weddings this summer, but we’ve been lucky enough to work around the weather. Thankfully their bridal party were a bunch of troopers and we finished up their portraits with a few sprinkles. Jenny and Cody were so welcoming and full of smiles the entire day. I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. Congratulations you two! Enjoy : )

          Cheers,

          Emily

JILL + SETH // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

            September 15th, 2014

Jill and Seth’s rustic wedding was an absolute dream. Despite the rain during their portraits, their day was absolutely perfect! Jill made a stunning bride and she was so calm throughout the day. Jill and Seth were incredibly flexible and worked around the rain for their portraits. We spent a majority of the time under coverage, but when the rain finally subsided, Jill and Seth were more than willing to take the risk and finish portraits under the heavy overcast skies. I am so glad that they trusted me, because their portraits turned out beautifully!! We all know how much I love overcast skies and the gorgeous colors they create. I just loved all of the details found throughout their day. The reception decor and florals were so fun to photograph. Enjoy : )

            Cheers,

            Emily

KIRSTEN + MASON // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

              September 12th, 2014

Yay for more weddings! Kirsten and Mason’s beautiful wedding fell on a humid day, but you certainly can’t tell. Kirsten looked flawless the entire day and Mason was pure smiles. I truly enjoyed watching their day unfold. Kirsten and Mason are one of those couples who just ooze love for one another. They were both so incredibly happy on their special day and it was a joy to witness. I had a blast with their rowdy wedding party and got some really good belly laughs during their dance. You’ll soon see why. Thank you so much Kirsten and Mason for choosing me to document your day. Enjoy : )

At the dance when they played what appeared to be Mason’s jam, “Turn Down For What”, things got a little crazy and I personally loved it. All of the groomsmen’s facial expressions were bomb.com and Mason really cracked out the dance moves : )

              Cheers,

              Emily

BRIANNE + BRANT // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

                September 9th, 2014

The last few weeks around here have been a little difficult. Being 8 months pregnant and sick has really taken a toll on my blog. I’m on the mend, but not in the clear quite yet. I have so many wonderful weddings to share with you all, so I am beyond happy to show you a glimpse of some of my favorite images from Brianne and Brant’s beautiful day. This summer I have had rain at 10 of my 21 weddings, we’ll see what happens at the next 8 weddings. Brianne and Brant’s wedding fell on an overcast day and we were fortunate enough to only have a few sprinkles during the portraits. The sprinkles and humidity didn’t dampen their spirits as you will soon see.┬áThe overcast skies created beautiful lighting and color. I love how these turned out. And the reception was absolutely breathtaking. I was obsessed with the decor. Enjoy! : )

                Cheers,

                Emily

                  September 4th, 2014

Melanie and Kodiak are an absolutely adorable couple and their love for one another was a treasure to witness during their engagement session. This young sweet couple were so refreshing and I had a great time spending the evening with them. Their willingness to do anything for a great photo made for a super fun session. Their wedding next summer is bound to be stunning. And can I just say, how awesome is their style? I really need to update my wardrobe after baby comes. Enjoy : )

                  Cheers,

                  Emily

KYLIE + MIKE // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

                    September 2nd, 2014

I am so thrilled to finally be able to share Kylie and Mike’s beautiful day with you all. Shooting 29 weddings pregnant and keeping up with the blog is a little tricky, but I get so excited when I get the opportunity to show you the amazingness that I’ve been a part of so far this summer.

I remember on my wedding day, it seemed as though the day went so fast that it was hard for me to really soak up every moment that was occurring. As a wedding photographer I feel sometimes the chaotic schedules on a couple’s wedding day prevent them from being “in the moment” on their day. This was definitely not the case with Kylie and Mike. There wasn’t a moment during their day where I questioned how much they were truly enjoying their wedding day. They were present and soaking up every little bit of their day that they could. You could totally tell how smitten they were with one another and it was such a joy to watch. I feel so lucky to have been able to witness and document their big day. And seriously, how pretty are all of these details and how cute is their pup who made a quick appearance? Congratulations Kylie and Mike! Enjoy : )

The last series of photos are some of my favorites. I like to call them “sunset pictures”. If time allows, I always encourage couples to take 10 minutes to go take some fun sunset photos because at this time of day the lighting is always stunning. It’s also fun to take a few photos as an officially married couple. So future couples, please consider doing these photos if time allows. You won’t regret it : )

                    Cheers,

                    Emily
