VERONICA + ANDY // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

October 15th, 2014

I am so proud of myself for getting caught up with my blogging. This week is by far the busiest week of my season. In seven days I have 4 engagement sessions and two weddings, all while I’m 38 weeks pregnant! WOAH!! One great thing about being this busy during my pregnancy is the fact that it has made the time fly by. I can’t believe in just two short weeks *hopefully*, we’ll be meeting our baby boy!!

Today I am so happy to share Veronica and Andy’s breathtaking wedding at Five Lakes Resort. I adore this location! It provided the perfect back drop for their rustic wedding. I just loved the detail on Veronica’s dress and all of the reception decor. Everything tied together so perfectly! During the reception Veronica and Andy were sweet enough to leave for a few minutes to capture some dreamy shots down by the water. Sunset photos are some of my favorites!! The yummy lighting at that time of day makes for some fun and romantic “we just got married!!!!” shots. Congratulations Veronica and Andy! Your day was absolutely beautiful and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it. Enjoy! : )

LAUREN + ZACH // FARGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

    October 15th, 2014

Yay for fall and yay for engagement sessions! I absolutely love this time of year. The colors and the weather are my favorite. Lauren and Zach were kind enough to meet me in Detroit Lakes to do their engagement session and I would say it was absolutely worth it! The fall colors were in their prime and despite the overcast skies, the weather was beautiful! These two were full of fun ideas and so easy to photograph! I’m so excited for their wedding at Thumper Pond next summer! Enjoy : )

MEGAN + KYLE // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

      October 13th, 2014

I am on a blogging roll this week! Yay! I’ve got a plethora of beautiful images and stunning couples to share with you. Today I’m thrilled to share some of my absolute favorites from Megan and Kyle’s wedding day. These two high school sweet hearts were in my graduating class. It was so fun to witness them tie the knot in my hometown! I always enjoy going back home for weddings as it offers a sweet little walk down memory lane. Kyle and Megan’s day was filled with lots of laughter and adorable little details. Who would have thought 8 years ago…..(yep, I’m that old)….that I’d be documenting your wedding day! So crazy! Thank you so much Megan and Kyle for choosing me to be a part of your day! Enjoy : )

      Cheers,

      Emily

KARA + BRET // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

        October 12th, 2014

I have only two more weddings left for my 2014 wedding season. I can’t believe how fast this season has gone by! I am so thankful to have had such great pregnancy that has allowed me to document all of these beautiful weddings. This year I was fortunate enough to be a part of 29 weddings, my biggest year yet! But with an incredibly busy wedding season, blogging becomes slightly challenging. I have several more weddings and engagement sessions to share with you all and today I am so happy to give you a glimpse of Kara and Bret’s lovely wedding day!

Kara and Bret’s beautiful day was filled with laughter and adorable details. We did the majority of their portraits at the location where Bret proposed, which was this cute bridge at the park. The sun peeked out and made for some stunning photos of the newly married couple. Thank you so much Kara and Bret for letting me document your special day. Enjoy : )

KAYLA + TREVOR // FARGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

          October 9th, 2014

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year, especially this year! It was a humid summer and shooting so many weddings in the heat while pregnant really drained me. But once the beautiful fall weather hit, I got a little boost of energy to finish out my wedding season. These cooler temps, no mosquitos, and stunning colors are so refreshing!

Kayla and Trevor’s Rustic Oaks engagement session fell on a beautiful evening. Unfortunately, the mosquitos were out in full force and quite awful. But you wouldn’t be able to tell by the smiles on their faces. These two were an absolute joy to photograph. Thank you so much Kayla and Trevor for braving those terrible mosquitos to get some adorable shots! I had so much fun spending the evening with you. Enjoy : )

          Cheers,

          Emily

STEVI + JUSTIN // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

            October 3rd, 2014

This summer was filled with many ‘firsts’. Stevi and Justin’s wedding happened to be the first time I have had the opportunity to attend a wedding at the Red River Zoo. I was so excited to see how their day would turn out in such a unique setting. I was not let down, that’s for sure! Their day was quite an elegant affair. I was really loving how their day looked in B&W, so classy and dreamy! There were lots of ¬†fun elements and details including a carousel, peacocks, ponds, and antlers. I loved it and I think their guests did, too. Thank you so much Justin and Stevi for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day. Enjoy : )

It was so fun having their dance outside with a live band!

            Cheers,

            Emily

AMY + JOE // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

              September 30th, 2014

Amy and Joe’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking. This was my first time at the Meadows on Lind and I fell in love with their spectacular venue. This is seriously the perfect setting for any outdoor wedding! I enjoyed every minute there. It was a photographers dream that offered so many beautiful backdrops. Joe and Amy filled the day with stunning details, which were so fun to capture. I adored the chalkboards and all of the reception decor. I feel I can’t do this wedding justice by attempting to describe it. The best way is to show you just how amazing their day was. Congratulations Amy and Joe! Enjoy : )

              Cheers,

              Emily

KOLBY + MICAH // FARGO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

                September 29th, 2014

Finally!! I am so thrilled to share Kolby and Micah’s beautiful wedding with you all. I had so much fun documenting their day. The atmosphere was so relaxed and their bridal party was an absolute hoot. Bison fans anyone?! If so, you’re going to love this wedding! There was lots of love, laughter, and Bison pride present on their day. My personal favorite was when the parents and bridal party were announced into the reception. They were all dressed up in their Bison gear as they ran in to “Thunder Struck”. Some of them were even tossing miniature footballs into the crowd. It was a blast! Thank you so much Kolby and Micah for choosing me to be a part of your special day. Enjoy : )

BONIFACE FAMILY // FARGO PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

                  September 23rd, 2014

I love getting the opportunity to take a break from weddings and engagements to document special moments with growing families. I was lucky enough to take photos of the Boniface family last year, so I was super excited when Kelci had asked me to do them again this year. It is so fun to see how much their family has grown and changed over the year. Little Brayden was a big ball of energy and such a cutie. Seriously, his blue eyes and blonde hair….so adorable! Thank you Boniface family for allowing me to document yet another year with your beautiful family! Enjoy : )

                  Cheers,

                  Emily

BETSY + DARREN // FARGO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

                    September 22nd, 2014

Happy monday everyone! I’ve been a busy bee over here getting caught up with all of these beautiful weddings and engagement sessions. I am so thrilled to share a few of my favorites images from Betsy and Darren’s engagement session. I loved spending the evening with these two wandering around downtown. Their session happened to occur during the week when I was really sick, but thankfully I was still able to do their session and they were such troopers with my runny nose and coughing. Betsy was sweet enough to send me home with a little care package after their session. Seriously, I have the best couples ever!! Thank you Betsy and Darren for allowing me to document such a special time. Enjoy : )

                    Cheers,

                    Emily
